The Pacific Coast Branch (PCB) was organized in 1903 to serve members of the American Historical Association living in the United States west of the Mississippi River and the western provinces of Canada. All members of the AHA living in those areas, therefore, are also members of the branch. The PCB-AHA holds an annual conference each summer. The 2027 conference will be at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. See Call for Papers
The Pacific Historical Review is the official publication of the Pacific Coast Branch of the American Historical Association. It is a quarterly academic journal published by University of California Press.
